I want to be a leader because I’ve been involved in robotics since 5th grade. I participated in an FRC contest with other 5th graders.
- 2019-20
- in 7th grade, I had a chance to go to Centerville high school for robotics competitions and afterschool activities for FTC
- Centerville high school has one of the largest robotics facilities in Fairfax counties so I had the
- Chance to go to competitions for FTC at Centerville itself with schools from all over virginia, on december 16th, 2019
- I also helped with a stem fair to teach kids at elementary schools about robots on November 16th, 2019
- I also received a stem certification during the 2019-20 school year
- 2020-21
- during COVID, I went in person only because in person students at trailside had hands on access to the facilities in the robotics classroom
- I took a robotics class in 8th grade and coded a robot
- 2021-22
- During spring break me and my team worked on the robot at my house and had almost no off days except for Christmas eve and Christmas day
